Lifting hearts to God in thanks and praise.

Connected at Christmas

A string of Christmas lights has potential. It can be loved and bought and misplaced and forgotten about or even given to the kids to play with on the front porch. The lights themselves are colorful.

But when they’re plugged in, they shine.

Considering the necessity of being connected this Christmas:
To Christ
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given you.”
To Others
“Consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”

When a light on the string is out, we replace the bulb.
But some strings go completely out for lack of one bulb properly placed.
That’s a bad string of lights, right?
I don’t think they make them like that anymore.

Thanks and praise to God.
