Every Sunday we have a houseful and I usually prepare the menu starting on Wednesday, when the flier comes out to tell me what meat is on sale. We plan the dinner around that. I shoot for spending around $20.
This Sunday Maurice is going to be grilling chicken. The big question is how to marinade it beforehand. Do we use Trader Joe’s Soyaki, or Herbs de Provence that I recently bought from King Arthur? We’ll have salad and bread from the Skripskys, potatoes chopped and baked with seasoning, soda that was on sale, and Maurice can grill zucchini as well. It’s time to grill!
